A considered block palette gives a build depth without relying on a single repeated material. The Effortless Building Mod Randomizer Bag distributes selected blocks during placement, helping you apply that palette across paths, walls and larger surfaces.
Crafting the randomizer
The documented randomizer recipe uses three iron ingots, one redstone dust and one flower. Check the recipe available in your installed version before gathering materials.
Filling it with blocks
Hold the randomizer and use Shift + right-click to open its settings. Choose materials with a consistent colour or texture, then test the balance on a small sample before covering a large area.
Using empty slots for air gaps
Use the empty-slot ratio when the design calls for gaps. Sparse placements can suit weathered structures or scattered terrain details; review the result so important structural sections remain intact.
Randomizer plus build modes
Combine a selected palette with a Wall or Floor mode to texture a larger surface. Inspect the preview before confirming, and see the shape guide when choosing the outline for your project.
Palette ideas
- Castle wall: stone bricks, cracked stone bricks, mossy stone bricks.
- Country path: gravel, coarse dirt, a small share of air.
- Beach: sand with a little gravel for variation.
- Meadow: a few flower types with a high air ratio.
Survival notes
For Survival projects, keep enough of the selected materials available in your inventory. Test the palette first, then gather supplies for the full area rather than adjusting the mix halfway through a finished surface.
